Forest bathing by the Ersk-Matsgården
Saturday 18 jul 2020
- Friday 24 Jul 2020
Find peace in the forests of Hälsingland by forest bathing your senses in natures atmosphere.
Forest Bathing or Shinrin-Yoku as it's called in Japanese, is a slow hike through nature that ends in a tea-ceremony in the forest. During a forest bath we open our senses and take in the forest and natures atmosphere. By observing nature with our senses we find a deeper connection to the nature around us. The soul finds peace and creativity increases. This type of sensual contact with nature has shown a deacrease in bloodpressure, improved cholesterol levels, improved sleep, boosted immune system and is especially good at decreasing stress.
